From Business Misunderstanding and Paying for Others' Mistakes to a Reliable Partnership

Yord is an award-winning creative studio and a global leader in developing projects for virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) and artificial intelligence. They have top-tier innovations and interactive projects for the world's largest brands under their belt. Their growth and dynamic operations began to run into the limits of their original accountants, who were unable to keep pace with the company and understand their world.

Challenge: Industry Misunderstanding and Absurd Invoicing of Errors

Yord tried two non-functional cooperation models. The first accounting firm specialized in the gastro sector and did not understand the specific technological and global business of the VR studio at all. This was followed by two years at another firm, where after a promising first year, the quality of services began to drop sharply:

Overwork and lack of time: Accountants operated at the edge of their capacity. They had no time for the client, which led to silly administrative errors (from wrong QR codes on payments to confusion in invoicing).
Pressure for unwanted services: Instead of cleaning up the accounting mess, the firm started pressing Yord to buy their own legal services, which the client did not want.
Absurd approach to errors (breaking point): The client (COO) had to track down the accountants' mistakes himself. When he pointed them out, the firm absurdly invoiced the time they spent fixing their own errors.

Solution: Moving to '21st Century Accounting' with TaxVision

The goal was to find a partner who understands the technology business, has sufficient capacity, and takes full responsibility without unnecessary burden on the internal team.

Smooth onboarding: Seamless transfer of operations without any shocks or disruptions to the company's run. Seamless transfer of operations without any downtime or disruptions to the company's daily run.
Dedicated Account Manager: Introducing a personal approach and direct communication. Someone who actually resolves things with the client, backs them up, and does not push unwanted services.
Human approach to expertise: Clear explanations of complex topics even for people outside the financial field.

Result: Peace of Mind for Business and a Functional Relationship

After 4 months of cooperation, accounting turned from a daily frustration into a reliable and quiet engine of the company.

Zero error rate: Regular day-to-day operations finally run smoothly without errors in detail.
Time savings and relief: Yord's administrative team was relieved of endless operations and the stress of auditing someone else's work.
Partnership, not just a vendor: Emphasis on interpersonal relationships and mutual understanding of the business operations.
„TaxVision stands out mainly due to its emphasis on the client relationship. It's not just about processing numbers, but also about an Account Manager who actually resolves things with us, understands us, and backs us up. I did not like the previous setup where I found an error and they invoiced me for fixing it - that doesn't happen anymore.“ - Rostislav Bušek, COO & Partner, Yord
